Cesar Monteiro
Natural de São Paulo, o professor de piano Cesar Monteiro iniciou os estudos musicais na EPAM Ensino Particular de Música, formando-se em Piano e flauta-doce. É bacharel em Música (Composição e Regência) pela Unesp. Entre 2000 e 2015 atuou como arte-educador na área de Música em escolas e centros culturais da capital. Desde 2015 ocupa o cargo de organista titular da Igreja Luterana Central “Martin Luther" além de atuar como pianista no Espaço Cultural da LBV.
Cesar também participou de duas edições do Festival de Música de Prados (2018 e 2019)

Born in São Paulo, he began his musical studies at EPAM Private Teaching of Music, graduating in Piano and Recorder. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Composition and Conducting) from UNESP São Paulo State University. Between 2000 and 2015 he worked as an art educator in the area of Music in schools and cultural centers of the capital. Since 2015, he has held the position of head organist of the Central Lutheran Church “Martin Luther”, as well acting as a pianist and teacher at the LBV Cultural Space. From 2000 to 2005, he joined the São Paulo State Choir as a scholarship holder, having participated in the productions like “Carmina Burana”, “Passion according to St. John", ”The Magic Flute", “Orfeo" among others. He also acted as a chamber musician (harpsichord) and soloist (organ) in two editions of the City of Prados Music Festival in Minas Gerais (2018 and 2019). He is studying the 1st year of the harpsichord course at EMESP and integrates the Trio Colonia Barroca as harpsichordist, at the research and interpretation of the repertoire of XVII and XVIII centuries.
